Fairmont Orchid welcomes well-behaved canine companions. The State of Hawai’i enforces a pet quarantine and laws have changed recently to become less stringent on animals traveling from outside the state of Hawaii. Click here for detailed information, then contact your veterinarian. An additional “pet charge” of $75 USD + tax per night, per pet will be added to your account. This fee will cover pet amenities such as a silicone water dish and toy (which you may take home as a keepsake), dog bed (for hotel use only), puppy pads and waste baggies, as well as special cleaning procedures during your stay and after departure. Should you require a pet sitter or walking services during your stay, our team will be happy to provide you with an informational flyer.

Additionally, the following rules apply to all pet stays:

  • Pets cannot be left unattended at any time during your stay.
  • Pets are not allowed in restaurants or at the pool, unless it’s a service animal trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
  • Pets are not allowed anywhere in the public areas of the Mauna Lani Resort, including roads and shops.
  • For your safety, all pets must be leashed or in their carrier while in public areas.

Vaults for the safekeeping of personal valuables are located at the Reception Desk.

We have bundled together our most popular amenities, services and offerings into one resort fee of $40 per room per night (plus tax):

  • Overnight self-parking for one vehicle per room
  • Unlimited basic WiFi access in guest rooms and public areas (ALL members receive an upgrade to premium speed internet access and ALL Platinum members receive $20 credit towards spa services)
  • Wellness classes (please see our weekly complimentary wellness offerings at the Spa Without Walls)
  • Complimentary shuttle bus service within the Mauna Lani Resort area
  • Two branded reusable water bottles per room, per stay, to be filled at purified water stations located throughout the resort. It’s part of our Planet 21 sustainability pledge to reduce single-use plastics and minimize our carbon footprint.
  • Hawaiian Cultural Classes & Resort Activities (please see our weekly activity schedule at the Concierge)
  • Lei greeting upon arrival
  • Complimentary snorkel equipment rental for one hour (available to each guest, per day—resort use only). Guests who purchase Fun & Sun passes may sign out snorkel equipment multiple times per day.
  • 45-minute photo session with Pacific Dream Photography (reservations required, photos available for purchase)
  • Unlimited North America Long Distance Calls (Canada & America)

A daily reforestation donation of $2 per room, per night, is automatically applied to each reservation to support the Waikōloa Dry Forest Initiative to help restore our native Hawaiian dry forest, offer place-based education for our keiki (children) and protect our local ecosystem.
