HAKU & TI LEI MAKING | Learn to make a lei, the iconic symbol of aloha in Hawaiian culture. *Haku Lei Making and Ti Lei Making classes are taught as two separate activities.

MO‘OLELO TIME—HAWAIIAN STORYTELLING | Storytelling on the beach or identified indoor space, as weather permits. Learn about the legends and lore of Hawai‘i Island.

ALOHA FRIDAY AT AHUAKŪPUNA (ALTER) | Join us to honor our kūpuna (ancestors) past and present in a moving ceremony.

ALOHA ‘ĀINA— BOTANICAL BEES & CHEF’S GARDEN TOUR | Learn about our native plants and our Kiawe honey produced onsite.

‘ŌLELO HAWAI‘I—HAWAIIAN LANGUAGE BASICS | Learn Hawaiian language basics to be able to pronounce the many Hawaiian places, street names and more.


We are proud to offer our Keiki Dining Program and kid friendly cuisine at Brown’s Beach House, Binchotan Bar & Grill, Hale Kai Restaurant and Luana Lounge. Children five years of age and under eat for free when ordering from the Keiki Menu and dining with a registered adult guest.

Children 6-12 years of age can order from the Keiki Menu or order a half portion from the regular dining menu with 50% off menu pricing. For more details, please inquire with your server.

The Keiki Dining Program is extended to registered hotel guests only and is not valid at Brown’s Deli or In-Room Dining.
