Newly Refreshed

The award caps a banner year for the oceanfront property, which recently unveiled a full refresh of its guest rooms, the exclusive Fairmont Gold floor, and its expansive meeting and event spaces.

Ocean Conservation

Beyond its commitment to luxury hospitality, Fairmont Orchid has also emerged as a leader in sustainability and ocean conservation. The resort became the first hotel in Hawaiʻi to partner with the ʻĀkoʻakoʻa Coral Reef Restoration Program, working to restore the coral reefs of West Hawaiʻi, including the waters of Pauoa Bay. Guests may now view the coral restoration site firsthand by joining a guided snorkel excursion with the property’s beach ambassadors.

The Readers’ Choice Awards highlight the most cherished destinations, properties, and travel experiences worldwide. This year, more than 750,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers cast their votes across categories including hotels, resorts, cruises, cities, islands, airlines, airports, spas, and more. The full list of 2025 winners is available online and will be featured in the November issue of Condé Nast Traveler.
